Flower pot girl

Hi folks, I’m back. I was in hospital for two months, but am now on my way to recovery. Missed all my card making friends out there. Glad to be back.

This is a new type card for me. Called Side Spring card. It was on
Splitcoast Stampers. A bit tricky but nice results. The saying in the circle is "I'm single A reason must be  men find my humor, brains & beaurty  a little too intimidating."  It fits the following challenges.;

Meljen’s Designs Our challenge for you this week is: Use BLACK.
Southern Girl’s Challenge  # 25 - Black & White with a POP!

Fast flower

I have a system that helps use up scraps and makes a lot of cards in a hurry. I call it 30 cards in 2 hours. A good way to beef up your stash or get a lot of cards ready for a craft show sale.
First you gather up all those 8 ½ x 11 pieces that you have laying around. (you know the ones you cut and only used one half.) Then all those 4 x 5 ¼ pieces. Get out your box of ribbons. Then that box of embellies that you haven’t used yet. Then stamp or sticker sentiments. Take all the cards (at this point you will have more than the 30 goal. Some die along the way.) and fold them in half., (Put your 4 x 5 ¼ pieces on the cards. You can add another 3 ¾ x 5 layer if you like. Just use any colors that go well together. Do a many as make pleasing combinations. Add ribbons (Or bows if you like.) put it on any way you want. Don’t do them all the same. Then pick an embellie or stamp something. Add the sentiment. Don’t make them all the same pattern, play with different arrangements. Remember this is all fun, I like playing with all the mix or match colors. You will have anywhere from 20 to 40 cards when you are done. Some will die along the way as they won’t meet your standards. Do each step on every card before you go to the next. (If you get hung up on one card it will slow you down, but this is your cards for your fun. So do what makes you happy.) I do this when my scraps boxes start getting too full.
This is one of my cards from this system. All materials are from my stash.
